Reason I chose the project:

I chose this project because I believe that digital storytelling improves engagement, critical thinking and creativity of the students. And also in my view digital story telling will improve the language level of the students. They will work together to create the storyboard, videos, animations, sound and text. There may be students who don't want to write with pencil or pen because of their handwrite. In that case also we are giving opportunities to them to create the same type of writing with technology. After thinking about all these points I chose this project.

I did a digital story and I learnt many things from it. Before we don't know about this, we use to take pictures from different story books and record the audio. But now it is very easy. We take only pictures and then write the narration in the sentence box. Also now we can create our own custom stories too and this will surely be a beneficial thing for my whole teaching career. Specially when teaching pre-schoolers this tool is very important. I did my first digital story from a app name as kids story builder. Everyday I use to learn new things from it. I used to google or looks videos from youtube when ever I had a doubt. 

My first attempt of making the digital story was not so perfect. I want include my students to my next digital story if I get a chance. I want them to create whole storyboard and make it with my help. I want to teach them what I learnt. Though I am a pre-school teacher and my students are small at least they can draw something If I give them a title of the story. And I guess that would be very different digital story. And make our own customized stories. From this students will know that even they can create stories too. Then this will improve their critical thinking and creativity.

ICT is a very useful and helpful for all of us. It's an modern tool of technology among people in all field. Through ICT the work on the job field can be done more effectively. So far ICT  gives easiness to run the teaching learning process. We Teachers need to know more about the ICT tools and use those tools in our real life.
